About Ministry of Home Affairs
The Ministry of Home Affairs is a government of India ministry. It is primarily responsible for maintaining India’s internal security and domestic policies as an interior ministry. Amit Shah, the Union Minister of Home Affairs, is in charge of the Home Ministry.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Follow the commands of the Head of Office and carry out the activities as directed by the Head of Office.
- Monitor the correct implementation of the Official Language Policy at Central Government offices, undertakings, banks, and other institutions.
- As directed by the Head of Office, participate in the Town Official Language Implementation Committee and the Departmental Official Language Implementation Committee.
- Assist the Deputy Director (Implementation) in monitoring the Annual Programme provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Department of Official Language.
- Examine the quarterly status report and offer assistance to the senior officers.
- Submit the dak/receipts to the Deputy Director’s/Assistant Director’s office.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in English and/or Hindi is required.
- Willing to work at any one of the eight Regional Implementation Offices.
Payscale
Level-7 (Rs.44900-142400) of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Probation Period
2 years
