Roles & Responsibilities
- Supply chain procedures for a nation or regional business unit, such as inventory analysis, order fulfilment, import/export operations, and shipping, with little oversight and using discretion and judgement.
- Uses IT systems to compile important indicators, generate reports, and evaluate data for demand and supply matching operations.
- Backlog management is examined.
- For demand planning, collects demand data from throughout the country and area.
- For regional and global business unit planning teams, review current business processes.
- On a regular basis, review performance indicators to find areas for improvement.
Eligibility
- A first-year university degree or comparable work experience is required.
- 0-2 years of expertise in a supply chain function is typical.
- Supply chain processes are well-understood (plan, source, make deliver)
- Analytical abilities have been demonstrated.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities; fluency in both English and the native tongue.
- Interpersonal skills are important.
- Microsoft Office fundamentals (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Understanding of project management approach at a basic level.
- Within the area of responsibility, developing business acumen and technical expertise.
- Understanding of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and ATP is required.
- Basic grasp of regulatory standards and compliance for import/export.
