Responsibilities
- Identify and comprehend data sources within the Walmart organisation.
- Recognize the data needs of various data science and machine learning workflows.
- Determine the best method for gathering this information, which may include developing database queries.
- Analyze and statistically analyse data from a variety of sources.
- Design and deploy large-scale data analytics pipelines.
- Work in a fast-paced atmosphere where high-quality work is valued.
- Collaborate with teams that are dispersed across the globe.
- Encourage and support the company’s policies, procedures, mission, values, and ethical and integrity standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ of experience, or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics’ Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics & Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, or any STEM discipline with strong data analysis and programming experience.Strong Python data analytics skills (pandas, numpy, sklearn, scipy).
- SQL expertise is required.
- Experience with data pipelines is a plus.
- Working knowledge of relational databases and distributed data repositories is required.
- Statistics (sample techniques, hypothesis testing) or machine learning knowledge is required.
- An eagerness to learn and a problem-solving approach (and this can compensate for missing any of the above requirements).
