Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement accounting controls and oversee their administration.
- Compile and evaluate financial data for FX products, assess daily PnL and Balance sheet controls, collaborate with the team on concerns, escalate as appropriate, and be in charge of daily PnL and Balance sheet creation.
- Manage journal entries and reconcile trade capture system feeds to the general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports for the company’s auditors.
- Collaborate on improving the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of controls on a continual basis.
- Innovate through agile working and automation.
- Month end close of PnL and balance sheet, trial balance substantiation.
Skills required
- Master’s degree or equivalent in accounting or similar subject, Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant.
- Prior expertise in a comparable job with an emphasis on product control, financial reporting, and reconciliation is preferred.
- Demonstrated product control knowledge.
- Knowledge of how to build a strong set of financial controls for a worldwide company’s financials (cost and revenue).
- Analytical and methodical, having a keen eye for the finer points.
- Excellent communicator who can adjust his or her manner to the needs of the audience.
