On Tuesday, October 5, the State Bank of India (SBI) began accepting applications for 2056 probationary officer (PO) positions. On Monday, SBI published a notice asking qualified applicants to apply online for this recruitment campaign. Interested individuals can apply for the job through sbi.co.in, SBI’s official website. The deadline for submitting an online application is October 25.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognised university or an equivalent certification recognised by the Central Government as of December 31, 2021. Those in their last year/semester of graduation may also apply temporarily, with the condition that if they are invited for an interview, they must provide proof of passing the graduation exams before December 31, 2021. Candidates with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should make sure their IDD is completed before December 31, 2021. Candidates with a chartered accountant or cost accountant qualification are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
As of April 1, 2021, you must be between the ages of 21 and 30. Candidates must have been born between the years of April 1, 2000 and April 2, 1991. (both days inclusive). For several categories, there is a relaxation in the upper age restriction. Please see the official announcement for further information.
Examination: The recruitment process will be held in three phases which include a preliminary examination, main examination, and interview.
Application fee: Application Fee will be ₹750/- for general/ EWS/ OBC candidates and ‘Nil’ for SC/ ST/PWD candidates.
