About the Team
The strategy and planning team is a key group that collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to plan and manage significant initiatives that have been designated as organisational priority. This is a high-impact position that entails developing, monitoring, and recognising problems and solutions that affect all aspects of the business.
Role
- The main distinction between this Business Analyst function and others is that it requires significantly more preparation and coordination with other departments than other BA responsibilities.
- The BA may anticipate to have a bird’s eye perspective of the company and operate at the crossroads of analytics and strategy. Execution in collaboration with the team manager will allow the incumbent to gradually assume greater responsibility for the business task stream(s).
Responsibilities
- To obtain crucial strategic insights for the platform, work with both external and internal data.
- Develop analytical models that forecast yearly, monthly, and daily platform returns, as well as other critical indicators, and measure AOP performance against actual returns on a weekly basis.
- Monitor critical OKR indicators for all departments across the organisation. Maintain OKR dashboards across the enterprise in collaboration with BI teams.
- Collaborate with business teams (revenue, marketing, category, etc.) on a preliminary hypothesis evaluation of system returns leakages/inefficiencies (category, rev & pricing constructs etc).
- Regular analysis and experimentation to identify areas for return improvement while keeping a data-driven approach.
- Maintain monthly reporting and SNOP process tracking.
- Within the organisation, persuade multiple teams/stakeholders to reach goals and planning schedules.
Qualifications & Experience
- With 2-4 years of experience, a B Tech/BE in Computer Science or equivalent from a tier 1 college is required.
- Ability to break down an issue into smaller components and construct a solutioning strategy with an awareness for math and business.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to operate on one’s own in a high-pressure, confusing setting.
- Excellent organisational abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, advanced Excel, R.
