In the Consumer Products Division, we have a suitable vacancy in the function of Sales for the post of Area Sales Manager. In this managerial position, you will be responsible for growing the company’s business in your designated zone. The candidate will be expected to implement and lead the commercial business strategy in order to meet sell-in and sell-out sales targets, as well as be accountable for the timely delivery of services and contribute to the acquisition of new important clients.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG industry in a similar geographic area. Chandigarh will be the location of the job.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Annual Operating Plan is met in terms of primary and secondary objectives.
  • Developing a market strategy to increase income and identify gaps and opportunities, as well as ensuring that the plan is carried out by the team.
  • Managing, motivating, and recruiting the sales staff.
  • Collaboration with different departments and constructive peer collaboration.
  • Managing and cooperating with channel partners to guarantee a healthy return on investment.
  • Planning channel expansion and new town growth with the crew.
  • As per company requirements, monitoring merchandising standards, planograms, and product visibility in the market with supremacy.
  • Monthly and quarterly sales forecasting for all main brands and SKUs in order to plan and execute the best possible outcome.
