About the Role
In collaboration with the Transaction Services team, the Cash and Trade Proc Analyst 1 is responsible for completing complicated transactions and engaging in complex processes. While processing all normal transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity, the ultimate goal is to function as a subject matter expert.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Process all normal, restricted, and legal transfers, including payments, receivables, trading transactions, liquidity flows, and wholesale card activities. Ensure transactions are completed effectively, act as a SME, and offer process changes.
- Using data analysis, technical experience, and precedent, evaluate and recommend solutions to problems.
- Anticipate and respond to demands from internal and external clients and providers for deliverables.
- Contribute to and cooperate on cash and trade operations initiatives as needed. Gain an understanding of how the cash and trade operations team collaborates with others to achieve goals.
- By ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting contingencies, appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university, or comparable experience.
- Prior expertise in a related field is desirable.
- Having a basic understanding of financial sector laws is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Communication and analytical abilities are essential.
