Role Purpose
As part of Data & Analytics, Data Centre of Excellence, this is an amazing opportunity to join the product data engagement team (CoE). This is a hands-on position with the responsibility of delivering the data foundations required to create essential analytics products that generate the most value from data in order to drive business and organisational performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the D&A analytics product team as a trusted data analyst, integrating data into product DNA and guiding the product’s data roadmap.
- As a functional Data CoE analyst supporting flagship analytics products, you will design, implement, and embed Enterprise Data Platform, supplying the data foundations needed to fuel our analytical products and democratise our data throughout the whole organisation.
- Drive excellence in data ready for the product as a Data Analyst, guaranteeing the delivery of a solid enterprise data platform. This will entail delivering end-to-end linage transparency, data governance, and quality controls from source to product across our internal, 2nd, and 3rd party data assets.
- You will work with analytics product owners to supply the underlying data platform as a member of the product data engagement team. You will work with Senior Data CoE Management to execute and collaborate with senior stakeholders to (i) drive a cultural shift around data within the organisation; (ii) explore innovation opportunities around new data channels, new data feeds; and (iii) identify interdependent activities and a bias toward front-loading high-impact work.
Relevant Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, data modelling, economics, finance, business administration, or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in demonstrating enterprise value creation with data and business intelligence.
- In a VUCA and competitive market, the ability to manage several demands and priorities at the same time.
- Understanding of data governance is preferred.
- Experience with Azure is preferred.
