About the Role
You will be responsible for tracking key indicators and conveying business trends to stakeholders as a Business Analyst, which is an Individual Contributor post. You’d collaborate closely with the business and product teams to make data-driven decisions possible.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You’ll collaborate closely with Flipkart’s internal teams to discover, define, gather, and track critical business KPIs for goods and processes.
- You’ll gather data for business analysis, create reports, dashboards, and metrics, and track performance.
- You’ll conduct quantitative analysis to turn data into useful information.
- You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and try to persuade them to make data-driven decisions.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, statistics, or a related area from a reputable university, or an MBA from a reputable university.
- 1+ Years of relevant experience in a relevant position.
Required Abilities
- Ability to convert organized and unstructured problems into an analytical framework
- Ability to try out different analytical strategies to address a problem.
- Communication skills, both written and vocal, are exceptional.
- Ability to plan and execute deliverables independently.
- Multitasking skills and the ability to work on a variety of projects.
Technical capabilities
- Excellent command of SQL, Excel, and other scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of statistical modelling and statistical software such as R, Python, Spark, SAS, or SPSS is required.
- Working experience with BI tools is advantageous (Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview, Datastudio, etc)
