About the Role
In collaboration with the Operations – Transaction Services team, the Fund Accounting Analyst is an intermediate-level professional responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation operations. This position’s ultimate goal is to aid in the computation of daily and periodic Net Asset Values (NAVs) for funds, as well as the distribution of associated unit prices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor work operations to ensure that funding activities in a department are completed on time and accurately, including the calculation of NAV and distribution factors.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, tax reporting, and regulatory filings.
- Assist with complex jobs as a Senior Checker.
- Examine aging break items and breaks over a specific dollar amount.
- Keep track of the deliveries for the clients you’ve been allocated.
- Assist the team manager with audit, customer, and risk-related questions.
- Assist the team coordinator or manager as needed.
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Certification in project management is preferred.
- Accounting, finance, or a business-related field of experience.
- Knowledge of financial operations and/or experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management
- Demonstrates clear and succinct written and vocal communication on a regular basis.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
