About the Role
We’re seeking for a Data Analyst to study a complex business process by analysing massive amounts of raw data for patterns and trends. We’ll rely on you to provide data products from which we can derive useful business insights. You should also be extremely analytical with a knack for math, statistics, and analysis. Data interpretation necessitates a keen eye for detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare analytical and trend reports, as well as graphics and stakeholder-ready content.
- Conduct structured and unstructured data preparation.
- Analyze massive volumes of data to find trends, patterns, and useful information.
- Create machine-learning algorithms and predictive models.
- Identify business issues with stakeholders and assist in the provision of insights through statistical methodologies.
- Data visualisation tools/dashboards are used to present information.
- Propose business-related solutions and strategies.
- Collaborate with product development and engineering teams.
Eligibility
- Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
- Data mining experience.
- Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, and Excel is a plus, as is experience with Scala, Java, or C++.
- Working knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik View, Power BI).
- Analytical thinking and commercial savvy.
- Exceptional math abilities (e.g. statistics, algebra).
- Aptitude at problem-solving.
- Communication and presenting skills are exceptional.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred.
