Roles & Responsibilities
- Work on defining important performance and operational indicators for numerous categories and functions inside the company to monitor the health of the function / categories. Working with several functional / category teams is essential (online sales, offline sales, Phones, Ecosystem, TV, Supply Chain, Logistics etc.)
- Create dashboards to measure critical indicators and share them with functional and organisational leadership. Senior Analysts will be responsible for managing important stakeholders such as the India MD, COO, CBO, CMO, and CFO.
- Monitor metric progress to identify any concerns and alert functional / org leads to any red flags.
- To uncover important challenges / areas for improvement within a function / category, use data analytics and statistical modelling to generate and evaluate different hypotheses. The key is to handle and understand complicated and enormous amounts of data from many sources in order to produce outcomes that are in line with corporate goals.
- To narrow down major concerns / areas of improvement and offer relevant solutions, support hypothesis with data-backed insights and apply the 80-20 rule.
- Consult with business partners to design and execute proposed statistical solutions (scoring models and valuations models) to address and impact complicated business challenges in order to enhance categories and functions’ procedures, operations, cost structure, and revenue.
- Deliver and deliver analytical results and suggestions to key stakeholders – India MD, COO, CBO, and CMO – in a relevant and effective manner.
- Work on 2-3 critical projects to improve processes / operations / P&L of category / function
