Roles & Responsibilities
- Client creditworthiness is assessed, financial analysis is performed, and acceptable credit ratings are recommended.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of all elements of the allocated credit portfolio, including industry trends, portfolio performance, covenant compliance, possible risks, and opportunities.
- In conjunction with new transactions and evaluations of current client facilities, preparing and presenting credit approval memoranda.
- Participating in due diligence sessions with clients.
- Performing yearly evaluations in a timely way by working with the middle office and business partners.
- Risk indicators linked with client behaviour, including as exposure control, covenants tracking, and collateral, are monitored, investigated, and escalated.
- Project management for ad hoc teams.
Minimum Requirements
- MBA from a top-tier business school or a professional accounting certification.
- 1–2 years of credit risk management expertise is required.
- Prior expertise with financial institution credit analysis is desired.
- Financial statement analysis, including ratio analysis, accounting standards, and financial adjustments, requires the ability to comprehend and evaluate financial statements.
- Excellent understanding of the credit analysis process.
- Strong oral and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team on a proactive basis.
- Deadline-oriented, well-organized, and responsible, with a keen eye for detail.
- Highly driven individual with a natural desire to learn and an inquisitive nature.
- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all skills that you should have.
