Roles & Responsibilities
- As a specialized Collateral administration subject-matter expert, you will provide support to regions, business units, and departments.
- Assist risk managers with collateral management, including prompt response to requests.
- Using selected GBSC tools and reporting, respond to customer inquiries quickly and effectively.
- Assist with accounting activities while adhering to accounting principles and standards.
- To track progress and aggregate operational results, use performance management tools and reporting.
- Make clear recommendations on how to resolve areas of operational risk and opportunity.
- Identify process improvements and assist in their implementation.
- Access and reporting from multiple banking systems are performed, updated, and maintained.
- Assisting with control improvements and SOX compliance.
- As needed, assist with unique initiatives.
- Assist top management on an as-needed basis.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with collateral administration and/or risk management is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting/finance, MBA preferred.
- Building trusting relationships with business partners is something you’ve done before.
- Project management experience is required.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- To obtain timely results, you must be able to influence outcomes and drive behaviour among a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to provide results with a sense of urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
- At all levels of the organisation, you should feel at ease.
