Roles & Responsibilities
- Creates data-driven apps to turn data into intelligence, creates algorithms and apps, conducts extensive experimentation, and uses code to create solutions to solve business challenges.
- Integrates statistics, predictive modeling, and other analytic methods to gather, examine, evaluate, and draw conclusions from both structured and unstructured data.
- Organizes, deciphers, and structures data insights; finds abnormalities in the data and fixes them.
- Carries out descriptive statistical analysis, creates applications, dashboards, presentations, or visualizations, and effectively conveys findings to support the organization’s decision-making process.
- Uses custom scripts, commercial technologies, and proprietary analytics platforms to support troubleshooting service offerings.
- Drives the creation, development, and optimization of deep learning training and inference frameworks, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and these frameworks, makes contributions to the study and advancement of data science activities and, where needed, provides product development help.
- Creates and implements systems, procedures, and methods for combining and analyzing various large data sources, establishes common data science processes, such as modeling, coding, analytics, and experimentation.
- Identifies, gathers, and analyzes information from existing and new sources; occasionally, this is done in collaboration with technical personnel or engineers to produce predictions or valuable insights.
- Ensures that models are scalable and implementable as part of the supplied solution for clients by collaborating with development teams and business units.

Graduate student (Masters in AI/ML; Computer Science, IE/OR)
