About IIT Guwahati
The IIT Guwahati Department of Design’s Embedded Interaction Lab (EILab) is an applied research lab. Our two main areas of focus are input interface for upcoming technologies like virtual reality and flexible displays, and technology for social innovation.
To support most of our research and innovation projects, we have been collaborating with business and governmental entities such as Samsung, Nokia, Microsoft, IBM, P&G, and the Indian government. We are a group of energetic, fun-loving individuals that enjoy experimenting, exploring, and trying new things. Research personnel, Ph.D. candidates, and master’s and bachelor’s students with a range of backgrounds—including electrical, electronics, computer engineering, and design—make up the team.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and train custom computer vision models
- Conduct research and test real-world computer vision models
