Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Phalgun Kompalli, and Ravijot Chugh founded upGrad, an Indian online higher education firm, in 2015. The company is the Government of India’s official education partner for the Startup India programme. Working people, college students, and corporations can enrol in online programmes in IT, Data Science, Management, and Technology through the EdTech organisation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ideate and create engaging content for platforms including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Quora, and X
- Research social media trends, viral formats, and audience preferences to develop high-performing content ideas
- Script, shoot, edit, and publish reels, videos, carousels, and other social media content
- Write compelling captions, copy, and creative concepts aligned with the brand voice and communication objectives
- Support the brand’s presence on emerging platforms such as Reddit and Quora through relevant content and community engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute content calendars, campaigns, and social media initiatives
- Ensure content is polished, on-brand, and optimized according to platform-specific best practices
- Monitor content performance, analyze audience insights, and recommend improvements to increase engagement and reach
- Stay updated on social media trends, creator economy developments, and digital marketing practices
- Contribute innovative ideas to strengthen brand awareness, audience engagement, and community growth
