Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Phalgun Kompalli, and Ravijot Chugh founded upGrad, an Indian online higher education firm, in 2015. The company is the Government of India’s official education partner for the Startup India programme. Working people, college students, and corporations can enrol in online programmes in IT, Data Science, Management, and Technology through the EdTech organisation.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Conducting research on possible partners and customers, locating important decision-makers, and starting outreach initiatives to form partnerships and business relationships.
2. Conducting a market analysis.
3. Data analysis: Gathering, examining, and extrapolating information about the pipeline of opportunities. keeping track of conversions, moves, and additions to the pipeline.
4. Business development: Working together with the marketing and sales departments to create plans that improve revenue growth, lead generation, and conversion rates.
5. Reporting: Creating frequent summaries and presentations regarding outreach initiatives, developments, and outcomes. delivering research results to the management group for strategic planning guidance.
6. Process improvement: Constantly pointing out where business development procedures need to be improved and offering effective fixes to maximize output and efficiency.
7. Cross-functional collaboration: Closely collaborating with various organizational divisions and business units to match business growth initiatives with overarching corporate goals.
8. Relationship management: Establishing and preserving solid bonds with current customers, suppliers, and partners while making sure to communicate often to comprehend their requirements and offer first-rate customer service.

Requirements
1. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline (ideally an MBA or its equivalent).
2. Excellent analytical abilities including the capacity to interpret patterns, data, and customer insights.
3. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
4. The capacity to multitask and oversee several outreach initiatives at once.
5. Self-driven and capable of working both individually and collaboratively.
6. Prior experience in [industry/niche] is advantageous.
