Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive important business choices by taking ownership of the design, creation, and upkeep of continuous metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. Verify data for both new and old technologies to ensure data accuracy.
- Using technologies like Tableau, AWS-QuickSight, and Looker, create reporting and data visualization solutions. Retrieve and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and other data management systems.
- Acknowledge and implement best practices in data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation in reporting and analysis.
- Using programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala, model data and metadata to support reporting pipelines and automate manual reporting solutions.
- Recognize business metrics trends and suggest tactics to stakeholders to support company expansion. Key insight patterns are reported, and the wider team is informed and simplified by employing statistical rigor (hypothesis testing, experiment success measurement, statistical significance definition, and the development of simple regression and forecasting models).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research
- SQL expertise as well as knowledge of Python, Scala, Ruby, and Java
- Familiarity with the principles of data management, data storage, ETL, data modeling, and data architecture.
- Proficiency with Tableau, QuickSight, and Looker, three business intelligence reporting tools
- Knowledgeable with statistics, data mining, relevance, information retrieval theory and practice, and adept at presenting and visualizing data.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities along with the capacity to communicate your conclusions and insights in an engaging manner both orally and in writing.
