Mohalla Tech Private Limited, which was formed by Ankush Sachdeva, Bhanu Pratap Singh, and Farid Ahsan, developed it. In 15 Indian languages, ShareChat has over 180 million monthly active users. Users can exchange films, jokes, songs, and other language-based social content with other unknown users via the company’s app, which includes private messaging, tagging, and a personal messaging option.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Database Querying: Use SQL to run queries on ShareChat’s analytical engine built on Amazon Redshift.
- Scripting: Develop scalable scripts to retrieve or modify data through API endpoints.
- Analytical Skills: Analyse large datasets related to user behaviour on ShareChat and derive meaningful insights.
- Critical Thinking: Identify trends and patterns in data to uncover insights and draw informed conclusions.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy and diligence in data analysis to arrive at reliable conclusions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred.
- Previous experience as an Analytics Intern will be an added advantage.
- Technical knowledge of data modelling, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as BusinessObjects, databases such as SQL, and programming languages or frameworks such as XML, JavaScript, and ETL.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using analytical tools such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS to analyse datasets.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and present large volumes of information accurately and with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in writing queries, preparing reports, and presenting findings.
