About Zoom
Zoom is a patented videotelephony software application produced by Zoom Video Communications. The free plan includes a video messaging service for up to 100 simultaneous users and a 40-minute time limit. Users can migrate to a paid plan by subscribing to it. The most expensive package allows for up to 1,000 simultaneous participants for meetings lasting up to 30 hours. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the use of Zoom for remote work, distance education, and online social relationships skyrocketed. Zoom became the 5th most downloaded smartphone app in the world in 2020, with 477 million downloads.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement two research studies with an emphasis on racial equality and education, one in the education space and one in the nonprofit sector.
- Deliver comprehensive, robust, open-source research studies addressing key issues faced by education and racial justice charities, with an emphasis on technology, pro bono, and funding requirements.
- Make suggestions that will help Zoom Cares and businesses drive social impact.

Eligibility/ Qualifications
- At least 18 years old and actively enrolled in a four-year college or university pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree.
- Quantitative and qualitative research experience.
- Education and nonprofit ecosystems are also well-understood.
- Background translating data into stories.
- It is highly recommended that you have prior internship experience.
