Roles & Responsibilities
- Convert Pine Script strategies and custom indicators, such as Pivot SuperTrend, ATR stops, and dynamic pivot levels, into clean, vectorized Python code using pandas, NumPy, or Numba.
- Develop and execute backtests using multi-year historical data, calculating key performance metrics such as Sharpe ratio, maximum drawdown, win rate, profit factor, and trade frequency.
- Set up forward and paper trading environments to evaluate strategy performance, execution latency, and signal reliability under real-time market conditions.
- Integrate Python-based strategy engines with OpenAlgo and broker APIs, including Zerodha Kite, Angel One, and Fyers, using Webhooks or REST endpoints.
- Implement robust risk management by accounting for slippage, transaction costs, order placement logic, and trailing stop adjustments.
