About TATA Trent

On December 5, 1952, the Company was first incorporated under the name Lakme Limited (-Lakme-). Lakme was a manufacturer, retailer, and exporter of toiletry, cosmetic, and fragrance items. Lakme made the decision to leave its cosmetics division in 1998 in order to focus on clothing selling. It was determined that Lakme would develop a chain of department shops across the nation in order to establish a significant position in the apparel and soft products retailing business.

In order to do this, Littlewoods International Limited, U.K., sold Littlewoods International (India) Private Limited (-LIIPL-) to Lakme in March 1998. Concurrently, Lakme Exports Limited, a Lakme subsidiary, merged with LIIPL on January 1, 1998, and the combined company was called Trent Limited. Following this, Lakme Limited changed its name to Trent Limited and Trent Limited amalgamated with Lakme on July 1, 1998.

Roles & Responsibilities

I. Analytics on Social Media:

1. Helping to gather and evaluate data from social media sites (like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
2. Producing reports and presentations to illustrate social media activity
3. Seeing patterns and insights to guide campaign optimization and content strategy
4. Keeping up of the most recent social media analytics tools and developments

II. Marketing on LinkedIn:

1. Participating in the creation and implementation of our LinkedIn content strategy
2. Producing interesting information in formats (blogs, articles, videos) that are appropriate for an audience of professionals
3. Keeping an eye on rival activity and market trends on LinkedIn and social media
