Roles & Responsibilities
- Work on identifying, monitoring, and controlling the firm’s risk exposure, as well as analysing stress test findings and providing analysis on new products and enterprises.
- On a daily basis, work with the risk managers in the trading centres to assist them manage their market exposure and develop and assess risk plans.
- Analyze risk sensitivities on a daily basis and interpret the data; validate VaR, incremental risk change, economic capital calculations, and sign-off on the necessary risk systems; and prepare risk reports for traders and senior management.
- Reengineer the risk reporting process and give top risk management/trading heads with ad-hoc risk perspectives and drill-down analyses of less transparent risks and concerns.
Eligibility
- A master’s degree (MBA recommended) from a reputable school is required.
- 3–5 years of market risk/stress testing experience, particularly on the fixed income trading/risk management side.
- Markets, economics, and derivatives products (including exotics) knowledge
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate and lead projects with individuals all across the world.
- Python and Excel VBA knowledge would be advantageous.
