Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead application management cycle for MIF awards 2022.
- Conduct research for the MIF awards program on unique inventions in related industries and compile a database of information on them.
- Lead the MIF awards program’s application management by contacting entrepreneurs, pitching the awards program, and convincing them to apply.
- Oversee the start-ups’ end-to-end target-based onboarding.
- Ensure that project progress is updated and reported on a regular basis.
- During the year, assist in the curation and organization of smaller-scale activities (such as jury rounds).
- Assist with the event’s PR and/or social media activities during the year.
- Work on tasks associated with the management of this large-scale case, such as content, manufacturing, logistics, and enforcement, to name a few.
- Handle end-to-end invitation management by maintaining a database of high-value visitors, contacting them to invite them, and collecting event confirmations.
- Collaborate closely with the RSVP lead on seating and layout.

This position will provide you with project management experience, primarily through the MIF awards program. The competition is a high-stakes, large-scale event that takes a year to plan. We’re looking for a young, creative person who can work closely with the program director and take an active role. The intern will gain knowledge of India’s innovation ecosystem and have the ability to engage with startups from a variety of industries.
