About Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka)
Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) was founded in 2000 as a joint venture between the Government of Karnataka (GoK), IDFC Foundation, and Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) under the Indian Companies Act, 1956. Its purpose is to develop and start well-thought-out, future-ready infrastructure and infra projects. Consulting services are offered by iDeCK from conception to commissioning. Business advising, planning & design, engineering, legal, policy, and institutional strengthening are among iDeCK’s primary service areas. iDeCK is dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of all parties involved in the infrastructure industry. The India PPP Capacity Building Trust (ICAP), of which iDeCK is the sole trustee, is actively engaged in skill development in the infrastructure industry both domestically and internationally.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support site supervision and assist in execution-related activities
- Contribute to project planning and monitoring processes
- Assist in quantity take-offs and maintain basic project documentation
- Coordinate with on-site teams and track progress updates
- Gain exposure to project management consultancy (PMC), contracts, and overall project workflows
