Responsibilities
- Trade capture, Enrichment and Confirmation.
- Learn about the major steps in the trade life cycle, from contract capture through final settlement.
- Record-keeping and reconciliation: Identify and resolve trade breaks caused by inconsistencies in securities data, trading and settlement dates, executed quantities, taxes, commissions, prices, and settlement locations.
- Data mining, business analysis, modeling/reporting, and documentation: daily/weekly/monthly metric dashboards are prepared and compiled to provide full business analysis.
- Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to perform daily activities, develop best practise methods and approaches for business analysis, problem follow-up, and escalation, and build best practise methodologies and approaches for business analysis, issue follow-up, and escalation.
- Develop connections with customers (i.e., counterparties, traders, legal, credit, technology, controllers, and other functional teams) to gain a better understanding of their goals, safeguard client confidentiality, and respond to ad-hoc requests quickly.
- To reduce operational risk, support and build risk policies and a control architecture.
- Tasks that are outsourced to suppliers are governed.
- Participation in initiatives that are connected to the work function.
Qualifications/Skills/Reqs
- You are a university student who will graduate in June 2025
- You must be willing to work a variety of shifts ranging from 6:30 a.m. to midnight.
- You are a natural leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- You are meticulous in your attention to detail and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- MS Office proficiency is required.
- Strong organisational abilities, including the capacity to plan, prioritise, and handle a variety of tasks.
- Demonstrate a strong feeling of urgency, responsibility, and ownership.
Interview process: Shortlisted students from online test will be required to be available for virtual interview/ Physical interview with Morgan Stanley. Students will be further shortlisted based on personal rounds of interview before we make the final offer.
