About the Internship
HCLTech is looking for a Field Sales Intern under PMIS. The internship lasts a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 9 months. Interns work from the office six days a week and also travel to schools for counselling and assessment drives. Expect a busy schedule with a lot of interaction with students, parents and school staff.
Locations
Positions are available in Noida, Lucknow, Chennai, Vijayawada and Hyderabad. You choose your preferred location when you apply, so pick the city you can realistically work from for the full duration.
Job Responsibilities
- Visiting schools to run counselling sessions and student assessments
- Hosting counselling sessions, webinars and assessments
- Handling Versant proctoring and interview coordination
- Assisting with Scholar Connect and other assessment activities
- Calling candidates from the database and guiding students and parents
- Fixing schedules for assessments and interviews
- Collecting and submitting documents needed for offer release
- Keeping candidate records, eligibility status and assessment progress up to date
- Taking part in events held by government bodies and other partners
- Helping with onboarding and informing selected candidates about schedules
- Sending activity and calling reports on time
- Entering data accurately in company systems
- Taking up any other work given by your reporting manager
Skills Required
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to counsel and handle stakeholders
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Good planning and coordination
- Readiness to travel and work in the field
Eligibility Criteria
Graduates and postgraduates from any stream can apply if they meet all of these conditions:
- Qualification timing: Finished a degree in 2025 or 2026, or are in the final semester of a degree finishing in 2027.
- Age: Between 18 and 24 years.
- Family income: Below ₹12 lakh a year.
- Parents’ employment: Parents should not be working in the Government sector. If a parent is a retired Government employee, you can still apply.
Stipend
Selected interns receive approx. ₹9,000 per month. Over the 6 to 9 month duration, that comes to roughly ₹54,000 to ₹81,000 in total, depending on how long your internship runs.
