Roles & Responsibilities
- Helping the teams with Tower’s India trading operations’ morning and evening operations, such as launching the Risk Monitoring System in the morning, ensuring that all necessary files have been downloaded and the exchange apps are operational before the market opens and updates on deposits
- Communicating with service providers and exchanges to troubleshoot any issues
- Working on month-end tasks and preparing data for exchange audits
- supporting India Markets’ clearing and settlement procedures for a variety of asset classes, including managing the Back Office system and the creation of the EOD reports
- Trades and positions should be reconciled every day, and any breaks should be fixed prior to the market opening.
- Taking ownership of, answering, and guaranteeing prompt resolution to specific stakeholder inquiries
- Timely completion of the daily BAU job
Requirements
- A degree in economics, finance, or a similar discipline
- Ability and a willingness to pick up new skills
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential: At ease using conditional statements, pivot tables, and lookups
- Having a master’s degree in finance might be beneficial.
