About Victoria’s Secret
The American company Victoria’s Secret sells lingerie, apparel, and cosmetics. Roy and Gaye Raymond, a Stanford graduate student and his wife, founded the business in 1977. In 1982, Les Wexner purchased the company’s five lingerie boutiques. The company had 350 stores nationwide and $1 billion in sales by the early 1990s, when Victoria’s Secret was the biggest lingerie retailer in the US, thanks to Wexner’s quick expansion into American malls.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Investigate and suggest novel statistical/ML models to meet the needs.
- Measure the effects of the developed machine learning approaches and target and construct different problems in terms of important business indicators.
- Examine data for patterns and trends, and analyze data with a specific goal in mind.
- Create ML/DL models, implement them in production, or assist in creating a platform that makes this possible.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to bring Data Science initiatives to life.
- Inform pertinent stakeholders of developments and discoveries.
- Stay abreast with new developments in AI and ML.
