Key Responsibilities
Contributing positively to the expansion and advancement of cutting-edge technology at SRI will be the main duty of this position. You will collaborate directly with research scientists and other team members on a variety of development and optimization activities related to linguistic, visual, audio, speech, and textual signal analysis throughout the internship. Additionally, you will be expected to actively work on AI development tasks every day, such as testing, training, bug fixes, and other procedures for creating a reliable model.

Qualifications
The internship program will give preference to candidates who are pursuing or have finished an MS, MSc, MTech, or PhD degree in computer science, electronics engineering, data science, information science, artificial intelligence, computer applications, or any closely related technical field.
Required Skills
- Strong familiarity with Python, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and other ML and DL tools, as well as relevant programming skills, mostly for multimodal AI applications.
- Proven ability to use a combination of textual, visual, and auditory data to solve multimodal challenges using deep neural network-based models and state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of all major network architectures, deployment strategies, data preparation and augmentation, and model architecture performance analysis in theory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with expertise in linear algebra, probability, statistics, machine learning mathematics, algorithms, and signal processing.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills combined with strong presenting and communication abilities
Preferred Skills
- Display your research skills by showcasing your pertinent publishing history in prestigious journals and conferences.
- Impact-driven mentality and the capacity to work and learn in a multicultural and cooperative setting.
- Programming expertise in Python, C, and C++ that includes a solid understanding of data structures and OOP ideas.
- It would be ideal to have programming experience with Scikit-Image, OpenCV, Python, and MATLAB.
- Knowledge about the Linux operating system.
- Involvement in open-source grand challenge contests, like as Kaggle.

- 6 months starting February third week of 2025.
- 9:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday) fulltime
