Roles & Responsibilities
- Work closely with other designers and researchers on a project while being integrated into one of Uber’s product teams.
- Feel what it’s like to create for millions of users—and maybe learn something in the process!
- Uber’s designers are constantly abreast of the newest and best prototyping tools since they live and breathe prototypes. You will use a variety of high- and low-fidelity prototypes to test your design concepts while you are an intern at Uber. You will have a thorough understanding of new tools and trends by the end of your internship.
- To ensure a proper fit and finish, collaborate with other members of the product team. You will gain an understanding of the importance of details at every stage of the product development process by experiencing release cycles.
- While developing the framework to address new use cases, make use of Uber’s design system.
- Showcase your work to the Design Team and depart with insightful conclusions and items for your portfolio.
Requirements
- Actively working for a design bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Anticipated graduation year is 2025–2026.
- Confidence in reading and writing, as well as intermediate conversational English abilities. Be prepared to commit time to improving your English language skills.
- Availability for a six-month period beginning in July 2025 or earlier.
- There are several notable pieces in your expanding portfolio, as well as at least one project that shows that you can create excellent UI/UX. can include articles, design contests, hackathons, and/or scholarly work.
