In Bangalore, India, the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore or IIMB) is a public business school and an Institute of National Importance. After IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad, it was the third IIM to open its doors in 1973.
Postgraduate, doctoral, executive education, and certificate programs are available at the institute. The MBA program is the BSchool’s flagship curriculum, and it is available in three formats: one year full-time, two years full-time, and two years executive (weekend).

Academic Interns – Online Classroom Support
About the Internship
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore looking to hire few Academic Interns for Online Classroom Support to support its online education for a temporary period. Training will be provided to selected candidates.
Roles & Responsibilities
Academic interns will be responsible for scheduling online sessions, coordinating with the IIMB IT staff, monitoring the chat box, creating groups, and providing effective support to faculty during online lectures/classroom instruction. Monitor online discussions during class, present a summary of chats to the faculty throughout class, investigate new online tools for converting face-to-face educational approaches to the online environment, transcribing and captioning video materials, and so on.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have recently finished a Post Graduate/ Master’s Degree/ MBA/ Diploma in any area and are comfortable managing computer systems, well versed in MS Office, and conversant with ZOOM, Webex, Teams, and other online education programs are eligible to apply for the post. Candidates must be willing to change their online facilitating style based on the session structure and/or the needs of the participants.
Selected interns should be able to start right away. For non-teaching employees, the maximum age restriction for appointment under these Rules will generally not exceed 60 years, subject to the director’s judgement.
Stipend
Academic Interns would be paid a monthly consolidated stipend of Rs.35000.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 3 months and which may be extended up to 6 months based on the requirement.
