About ESAF Small Finance Bank
The Reserve Bank of India, the nation’s financial watchdog, gave ESAF an in-principle license to open a small financing bank in 2015. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) granted ten NBFCs in-principle permission to establish small finance banks in the private sector, including ESAF Small Finance Bank. The RBI gave the final license in November 2016. On May 5, 2016, ESAF Small Finance Bank was established, and its registered office is located in Thrissur.
