About IDBI Bank
The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI Bank Limited, IDBI Bank, or IDBI) was founded in 1964 by an act to provide loans and other financial services to the growing Indian economy. It is a completely owned subsidiary of Life Insurance Corporation and a development finance institution. SIDBI, India Exim Bank, National Stock Exchange of India, and National Securities Depository Limited are only a few of the national institutions that have their roots in IDBI.
It began as a Reserve Bank of India subsidiary before being transferred to the Government of India by the RBI. The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) granted Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) technical approval to grow its stake in IDBI Bank to 51 percent on June 29, 2018. On January 21, 2019, LIC completed the acquisition of a 51 percent controlling stake in IDBI Bank, making it the bank’s dominant shareholder. In a press release dated 14 March 2019, the Reserve Bank of India explained that IDBI Bank has been reclassified as a Private Sector Bank for regulatory purposes, with effect from 21 January 2019.
Reuirements
- Graduate with a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/PWD) from an accredited university.
- More than 20 years old and less than 25 years old.
Pay Scale
- In the first year, you would be paid Rs. 29,000/- per month.
- In the second year, the salary is Rs. 31,000/- per month.
- In the third year of service, the salary is Rs. 34,000/- per month.

Note
Following the successful completion of a three-year contractual service tenure, such people may be considered for appointment as Assistant Manager (Grade A) at IDBI Bank following a selection procedure conducted by IDBI Bank.
