Titan Company Limited (Titan) began operations in 1984 as Titan Watches Limited, a joint venture between the Tata Group and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO). Titan is the world’s fifth-largest integrated own-label watch maker. Titan has grown into underserved areas and built lifestyle brands in a variety of product categories over the previous three decades. Titan is well-known for revolutionising the Indian watch and jewellery business, as well as for pioneering experiential retail in the Indian retail sector.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Work on grouping students as per the region
2. Work on secondary research through the internet and existing library information on the craft (collaboration with respective institutions)
3. Work on primary research: field documentation of crafts/textiles/artisans with a process-based approach & curation of samples/swatch development for process documentation
4. Work on the documentation of archives with WSCs, museums, artisans & curators themselves
5. Work on setting up meetings with textile doyenne (By Titan team) – Layla Tyabji, etc.
6. Work on photography
7. Work on process documentation of craft/textile, etc.

Perks
Stipend: Rs.10,000 – 35,000 / month
