About Sansad TV
Sansad Television is an Indian government television channel that transmits content from the Indian Parliament’s two houses. Although separate satellite channels are broadcast for each House, it was founded in March 2021 by merging the current house networks, Lok Sabha Television and Rajya Sabha Television. The channel will initially contain around 35 themes on which shows will be shown, and the programmes would be comparable but broadcast in two languages: English and Hindi.
Sabha TV channels as a cerebral channel which will showcase the democratic ethos of India and the functioning of democratic institutions in our country. Sansad TV will provide content centred on the Indian constitution, polity, government, history, and culture for both national and international audiences.
About the Internship
Sansad TV provides internship opportunities for young boys and girls to serve as research support for a variety of programs.
Eligibility
- Interns should have appropriate experience and be well qualified in a variety of subjects such as law, economics, business management, journalism, arts, sociology, and history.
- Persons with excellent writing abilities and the capacity to conduct deep-dive desk research will be given priority.
- Experience/ability/desire for audio-visual content creation and social media management will be considered a plus.
Duration
The internship program will last for six months. Interns who perform exceptionally well will be awarded a 6-month extension.
Stipend
Depending on their qualifications and expertise, selected interns would be paid an honorarium of Rs. 30,000-50,000 per month.
