About PhonePe
PhonePe is a digital wallet and e-commerce payment system startup based in Bangalore, India. Sameer Nigam, Rahul Chari, and Burzin Engineer started it in December 2015. PhonePe was the first payment app developed on a unified payments interface, and it went live in August 2016.
PhonePe is accepted as a payment method at approximately 17.5 million offline and online merchant outlets in India, encompassing food, travel, groceries, pharmaceuticals, and cinema tickets, among other things. In June 2018, the app reached 100 million users, and in December 2019, it reached 5 billion transactions. It now has more than 280 million users. In January 2020, the firm debuted the PhonePe ATM. Customers can get cash from nearby Kirana stores in real time thanks to the PhonePe ATM.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Identify the merchant base in the designated cities by conducting research using a variety of secondary methods.
2. Create a comprehensive database with all the information required, including addresses, phone numbers, business hours, and services offered.
3. Keep precise documentation and guarantee data integrity over the entire study procedure.
4. Create and manage an extensive database of supermarkets by using database tools.
5. Support lead generation efforts by locating possible business prospects in the grocery industry.
Requirements
1. Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
2. A keen eye for precision and detail.
3. The capacity to do tasks on time and autonomously.
4. Expertise in Microsoft Excel and internet research tools.
5. Prior knowledge of data collection or market research is advantageous.
