Falguni Nayar launched Nykaa, an Indian lifestyle retailer of beauty, wellness, and fashion products, in 2012. The company transitioned from an online-only to an omnichannel model in 2015, and began selling things other than beauty. It retails over 2,000 brands and 200,000 products on its platforms in 2020.
Nykaa offers a variety of ecommerce channels, including websites and mobile apps, as well as 76 physical locations. It is a unicorn startup with a valuation of Rs.85 billion (US$1.2 billion) as of 2020.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Help maintain the platform positioning in terms of style-forwardness, quality, trends, etc. & identify brands/products on the platform that are not trend-forward
2. Understand products that are often returned due to quality, style, product not as per expectation, etc.
3. Verify key product concerns through a sourcing exercise
