About IIT Bombay – Development and Relations Foundation (DRF)

The Development and Relations Foundation (DRF) at IIT Bombay is a section 8 non-profit organization. In order to build and maintain long-term partnerships, IITB DRF interacts with our active alumni community, businesses, and foundations while facilitating the Institute’s primary mission. The main players in IIT Bombay’s quest for greatness are these organizations. We urge these organizations to get involved and participate in the strategic activities of the Institute. These include establishing top-notch academic programs and research in cutting-edge fields of science and technology, constructing top-notch facilities, enhancing the value proposition of professors, bolstering the ecosystem for entrepreneurship, and making contributions to society.
Through donor solicitations, donor program management, financial account maintenance, and reporting of all operations carried out with alumni gifts, IITB DRF supports fundraising efforts.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist project teams with content creation, documentation, and research.
Create draft material to highlight project milestones in newsletters, blogs, reports, and social media.
Perform desk research on the CSR budgets, areas of focus, and giving trends of corporations.
Assist with outreach tracking, impact documenting, and database administration.
The gathering, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative and/or qualitative data.
Work together with stakeholders both inside and outside the company.
Create briefings and background information about possible funders and donors.
Help with grant documentation and proposal drafting.
Offer suggestions to increase the initiative’s influence and awareness.
Help in planning workshops, events, and meetings with stakeholders.
Create draft articles that highlight project milestones for blogs, reports, and newsletters.
Help with impact documentation, outreach trackers, and database administration.
