Corporate Audit – Summer Analyst Program

Overview

Summer Analysts in the Asia Pacific area participate in an 8- to 10-week programme, depending on location, that is meant to provide you with a unique chance to get experience in corporate auditing. The programme begins with a firm-wide orientation and continues with training, networking events, and social activities throughout the internship. You’ll be given responsibility early on and expected to contribute significantly to the team. Internships, like full-time jobs, feature goal-setting and a formal assessment process, as well as lots of opportunities to engage and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of management.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a summer analyst, your role during the program will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to the work of the audit team in delivering their planned audit coverage. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Develop a working knowledge of corporate auditing policies and procedures (P&P).
  • Participating in audits and reviews, as well as assisting with the implementation of audit plans.
  • Understanding the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) and Enterprise Control Functions business processes (ECF).
  • Validating the company’s risk management operations by testing key processes and controls throughout the organisation.
  • Work is being documented in accordance with Corporate Audit documentation standards.
  • Assisting the Audit team with submissions and processes to the Governance Committee.
  • Issue Validation operations are being carried out.

Qualifications

  • Penultimate year student
  • Outstanding academic achievement
