Roles & Responsibilities
Consulting – Internship
You’ll work with some of the world’s brightest minds on cases that reshape industry, government, and culture, just like our full-time workers. Our consulting work is diverse and demanding, with much of it taking place on our clients’ premises. Depending on the client’s challenge, projects can differ in duration, scale, and venue. You’ll work on challenging projects with people from different backgrounds and fields, broadening your understanding of complex business issues and acquiring new skills and knowledge that will support you in the future, whether at BCG or elsewhere.
BCG GAMMA Consulting – Internship
As a member of our Gamma data science advisory team, the primary responsibility would be to translate real-world business issues into a quantitative sense and create models to answer these questions. You’ll not only create modelling principles, but you’ll also apply, calibrate, and backtest them, as well as sync the results and findings with our clients. Innovative expertise in (applied) mathematics, stochastics and statistics, computer science, computational mathematics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning will be combined.
You’ll be working on cases that reshape business, government, and society alongside our senior staff, who are some of the world’s best minds in their respective fields of analytics and industry. You’ll apply data science and analytics approaches to real-world business scenarios, work on difficult projects in exciting teams, gain a deeper understanding of complex business issues from a variety of viewpoints, and gain new skills and knowledge that will support you at every point of your career—at BCG and beyond.
Gamma Consulting’s work is diverse and demanding, with the majority of it taking place at our clients’ locations. Depending on the client’s challenge, projects can differ in duration, scale, and venue. You can fly internationally because our clients work all over the world. If you’re joining us straight out of school, you can expect to work on a number of clients and projects right away, from framing new business problems to creating fact-bases, developing modelling models and methods, designing creative solutions and algorithms, scaling up by designing relevant content or even software and applications, and educating colleagues and clients on new solutions.
At BCG GAMMA, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with clients from all of BCG’s regions and industries. Gamma is a key member of BCG’s rapidly expanding analytics enterprise, which consists of a collection of teams dedicated to delivering realistic outcomes for BCG clients through the use of cutting-edge analytics, data, and technology.
