Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with risk management model developers.
- Assume responsibility for the tasks assigned as part of the model’s development and/or maintenance.
- Wherever necessary, assist with critical regulatory requirements and projects.
- Obtain input from both internal and external parties.
- Identify significant areas for process optimization and assist in gaining efficiencies.
Eligibility Criteria
Engineering, finance, mathematics, science, or a numerical discipline degree from a university.
Skills Preferred
Financial and risk electives, certificates, or any other equivalent courses are ‘highly preferred’ for engineering and statistical students. [a short list is provided below]
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve real problems using approaches from numerical analysis, statistics, and financial mathematics
High-level programming language abilities in (R, SAS, Matlab, SQL, C/C++/C#, Python, Java, and so on) are ‘strongly recommended.’
It’s a plus if you know how to use statistical modelling tools like RStudio, SAS, SPSS, and SQL.
At all levels of the company, excellent communication and coordination abilities with colleagues and stakeholders.
Showing high standards when it comes to report writing in a systematic manner and simply and intuitively explaining technical topics.
Self-motivated and proactive in initiating new projects.
Ability to deliver on time and to a high standard of quality.
Ability to give and receive constructive comments and to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a clear and intuitive manner.
Both orally and in writing, fluent in English.
Location
