About Teach for India
We’ve established a countrywide movement of leaders at Teach For India who are working tirelessly to eliminate educational injustice. Today, we have over 900 fellows in schools around the country, touching over 32,000 students. Our graduates work in a variety of fields, including teaching, teacher education, school leadership, and community empowerment, as well as education technology, policy, government, media, and the commercial sector. 77 percent of our graduates continue to work in the development sector, affecting 33 million children in India, or one in every ten, proving their dedication to our vision: that one day, all children will have access to a high-quality education. Only when we have established a movement of leaders large enough to ensure that every kid in India receives a good education will our task be accomplished.
