Swiggy is an on-demand meal delivery service that allows users to order food from any nearby restaurant and have it delivered quickly (much faster than Dominos 50 % of the time). We’re a VC-backed firm in its early stages that’s developing at breakneck pace.
We are a group of enthusiastic individuals that get up every day to develop something useful in the ecosystem (we are all IIT, BITS, and IIM grads who have worked in top e-commerce businesses, investment banking, and consulting, but we are more interested in the fire in the belly than the pedigree).
Roles & Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor and forecast critical company KPIs.
- Plan and assess important performance measures on a regular basis to help you benefit from change.
- Determine the most appropriate metrics for tracking progress toward a certain business objective.
- Experiments to evaluate business theories should be designed, executed, and measured.
- Using automation and self-serve platforms, expedite root cause investigations and insight creation for a particular recurrent use case.
- Develop interesting tales based on business information, with an emphasis on the organization’s strategic goals.
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or a quantitative discipline relevant to business administration is required.
- Practical knowledge with data processing technologies such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, and others.
- Exposure to business intelligence systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and others.
- Basic statistical measurement frameworks knowledge (measures of central tendency, dispersion, distribution, significance testing, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques like Regression, Classification, etc.
- To tackle real-world challenges, use creative and disciplined thinking.
- Fail fast, learn faster approach.
- Comfortable in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Communication abilities that are both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented and capable of self-direction in an unstructured setting.
- Excellent communication and partnership abilities, as well as the ability to operate cross-functionally.
