Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule monthly movie grids for the Hindi movie cluster’s channels.
- Ensuring that the FPCs follow all of STAR’s internal regulations and procedures.
- Ensuring that all FPCs are released on time, with no room for error.
- Keeping track of licencing periods, syndicated titles, and used runs in order to optimise the library’s potential.
- Working with internal stakeholders to coordinate.
- Ensuring that all on-air telecast materials are in the system and ready to broadcast.
- Ensuring that all scheduled films/promotions are legally cleared, as well as new purchases, are known and planned.
- Working with the commercial team to provide valid and cleared movie windows for outside network channels that do not conflict with internal timetables.
- Coordinating with network channel stakeholders and delivering cleared movie windows that do not conflict with internal timetables.
- Working with the T&P teams to ensure that all programming plans are carried out according to the team’s criteria.
- Creating on-air promotions, analysing major tent-poles, and prioritising titles in order to attract the most viewers to the channel.
- Working with the marketing and research teams to develop a solid promotion strategy.
- Creating a detailed on-air advertising execution plan.
