About the team
Overseeing and challenging the first line of defense’s risk management actions, our risk function is in charge of all second line of defense duties pertaining to risk management.
The group is in charge of creating the Bank’s model risk assessments, reporting on risk profiles, and providing updates to top management committees.
About the programme
With our 10-week internship program, you can develop your talents, build long-lasting relationships, learn new things, and identify your strengths while gaining first-hand experience solving real-world problems. You will learn the skills necessary for immediate success throughout the program, and you will also gain an understanding of what will be needed in the future as our industry and your career develop. An offer of employment for graduates could result from a high performance on the program.
You will gain knowledge about our Risk team and its members’ duties, procedures, and people through this immersive program. You’ll have a comprehensive knowledge of what working with the Risk team potentially entail.
- A one-day orientation introduces you to the Bank and your fellow interns
- Four days of classroom instruction introducing you to our products, our business, and our bankers
- On-the-job training and technical seminars to support your learning
- Performance reviews and support of managers, mentors, and buddies
- Presentations by senior management (speaker series) and engagement with executive management
- Networking within the Risk business function and across other divisions
- Engaging in community service
Eligibility
- We promote applicants from a variety of backgrounds and accept students with outstanding academic records in all degree programs. As a penultimate year student, you will be eligible to intern in April 2025 and begin working full-time in July 2026. You will be granted the permanent legal right to work in the nation for which you are requesting.
