Roles & Responsibilities
To find hidden flaws in the code, do software composition analyses and security vulnerability assessments on apps used by the company.
- Examine the scan results to find any false positives in the business logic and code.
- Find and report flaws in third-party components and libraries.
- Work together to fix vulnerabilities with development teams.
- Work together with devops teams to incorporate the scans into the apps’ CICD pipeline in a smooth manner.
- Keep abreast with the most recent security dangers and recommended procedures.
- Participate in training and security awareness initiatives.
- Create and uphold policies and processes for security assessments.
