RedCarpetUp is a Y Combinator 2015 startup that aims to revolutionise Indian banking and credit. We analyse alternative data sources and use them to help people in India build honest and long-term credit. We prefer to conceive of ourselves as the next generation of smartphone credit and banking. Our apps and APIs are the foundation of our business. We make loans where banks are unable to see them. We are India’s first credit company, providing credit cards and loans to people who would otherwise be unable to obtain them. Our app has close to half a million users.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the profitability of the portfolio and be the owner of your vertical, this is a leadership role
- Prepare risk reports and financial models that include discounted cash flow, accretion/dilution analysis, pricing and credit strategies, etc.
- Work on the usage of SQL for data extraction and working with raw data in large databases
- Define key metrics and maintain views of them for easy monitoring by any stakeholder
- Create a reporting dashboard to provide insights to key data points
Location
This is a work from home internship opportunity.
Duration
The RedCarpetUp internship will be for a period of 6 months.
Perks
Stipend: Rs.20,000 – 25,000 / month
